I am graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in Music and Multimedia Applications and I am currently pursuing a M.F.A in Electronic Music and Recording Media at Mills College in Oakland California. As a composer I am interested in the fragmentation and recontextualization of musical ideas, forms and idioms and different ways to present these ideas in the studio as well as the stage.

I have experience working in many different musical situations. As a bass player, laptop performer, interactive designer, and sound designer. I have written for dance, video games, short films and animations, and have done production work for video games, podcasting, and musical artists.

Hi Evan, my name is Matt and I go to VCU in Richmond, VA. I’m interested in pursuing hybrid forms of multichannel and ambisonic set-ups for live music and I’d love to look at the patch you designed for max/msp (a program I’m not very familiar with but it looks like I’ll have to have a go at). You might also be interested in http://www.birmingham.ac.uk/facilities/BEAST/research/mulch.aspx if you haven’t looked at it. Thanks for any help. – matt (palmermk@vcu.edu)

    1. My spatialization patch is a very simple one, designed with performance via ableton live as a driving design force, it is not strictly Max/Msp so i am not sure if you would still be interested, but I would be willing to share my knowledge if that’s the case.
